Who we are
[Registered company name] (“Baltiqo”), registration number [000000000], [street address], Riga, Latvia, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@baltiqo.com.
What we collect
When you request a discovery call, we collect your name, company, email address, country, website and the details you give us about the products you want to source, including any file you attach. If you email us or book a call, we keep that correspondence.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your request, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the sourcing work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't sell your data or add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who we share it with
Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). The security check on our form is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a visitor is a person without tracking cookies. [If you add a booking tool, name it here, e.g. Cal.com.] When we source for you, we share product requirements with potential suppliers. We share your contact details with a supplier only when we introduce you, with your agreement. Some of these parties are outside the EU/EEA; where they are, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Newsletter
If you tick the newsletter box, we'll use your email address to send occasional updates. The box is unticked unless you choose it, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter or emailing us. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
How long we keep it
We keep requests that don't lead to an order for [12 months], then delete them. For clients, we keep records for as long as Latvian accounting and tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@baltiqo.com. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).
